Soon you will have to find your next tenant, and while My Room Abroad is actively working on finding him or her, we need your help. We need you to post your room on several rental Facebook groups.
How to do so? We will break it down to you in 4 easy steps.
1st step: write A DESCRIPTION OF YOUR ROOM
Write down your personal description of the apartment and the room with the total price, the location, the convenience and facilities. Do not forget to mention when it becomes available and to add your personal opinion on the room, the apartment or the landlord.
You can also copy-paste the description your landlord previously used in his Facebook posts and add your opinion.
If you cannot find it anymore, here is a template to inspire you.
2nd step: PICTURES and VIDEO
Clean the room and shared areas. Then take pictures and a video of it. Try to make it as attractive as possible for the next tenant.
You can also take the previous picture the landlord posted.
3rd step: Post it on different Facebook groups
Mainly:

- Looking for Roommates or Apartment in Taipei and Taiwan
- Rental Apartments in Taiwan
- Taipei Flat Rental
- My Room Abroad Taipei
There is a way to post on multiple Facebook group at the same time. So you don’t have to copy past your post to every single Facebook groups. Read “How to post your room to multiple Facebook groups at the same time” to know how to do it.
4th step: Forward to My Room Abroad
If you receive private message from people interested in your room, you should forward them the link to the room on myroomabroad.com or just forward them to us (hello@myroomabroad.com). This way you don’t have to spend time explaining them how it works.
